• Complete drawings, specifications and schedules before you are asked to price, so you price what will actually be built
• Samples and shop drawings reviewed and approved before fabrication begins
• Purchase orders with written conditions, not verbal instructions
• Decisions recorded while they are current, so scope questions are settled on paper, not from memory
• Payment terms stated before work starts: procurement is client-funded and funds precede orders
• Variations priced and approved before execution, with the narrative recorded honestly

What we expect.

• Price from the documents, and state plainly what your quotation excludes
• No substitutions without written approval: veneer and laminate are not interchangeable, and neither is anything else
• Programme honesty: lead times and deposits declared up front
• Finished work protected until handover
• Snagging closed against the documentation, and the defects liability period honoured
